How do I access the Digital Theological Library (DTL)?

  1. Log into your myCBTS account on Central Seminary's website.
     
  2. Select the Digital Theological Library and wait a few seconds.
     
  3. Click "Go to DTL A-Z Databases"

How do I create an Ebook Central (Proquest) account?

When signed in, you can highlight, take notes, bookmark/copy passages, and create your own personal Proquest Bookshelf.

***For unlimited user access books, you may download the full book, but limited access books should be read online, if possible, in order to keep the book available for for other users to view and read. Each download = 1 user access.

When is the library open?

  • Our online library is open 24/7, excluding major holidays
  • Chat research assistance is also available 24/7
  • The Central Librarian is employed part-time but checks email daily, M-F

How do I get help with my topic and finding/evaluating sources?

Send an email to Carolyn Johnson at cjohnson@cbts.edu and list 3 times (Central Time) when you are available to meet. 

Carolyn will email you a zoom link.

If a Zoom appointment isn't convenient, Carolyn can help you with your research through email.
